What Is The Best Digital Camera For Me?

Posted by | Filed under photography | Jan 31, 2010 | Tags: , , , | 4 Comments

I have a Kodak easy shear digital camera and I’m looking for a upgrade. I want something that takes really good pictures. I have been told that I am very good so I want something more professional. But I am kind of on a budget ($!00-$600) and don’t really know that much about cameras. So what would be the best upgrade for me?

an upgrade from a Kodak easy share?
well anything would be an upgrade lol. Sorry if you love your little easy share its just most anything would be an upgrade.
What model is yourKidak EasyShare? If I knew the speculations of it I could tell you a little more accurately what would be better.
ok, something more professional. . .
study photography. When you know what photo is really about you will become more professional and have the ability to work with a large variety of cameras because you will know how they work. When you know what your doing you cant help but to do it well.
Here is what I would recommend:
either a lower quality SLR (digital or film) camera. Or a point and shoot camera that gives you options that of a Single Lens Reflex camera.
    you ready?
The Canon G9 is basically the best point and shoot style camera ever if you know something about cameras and how they work.
Or if you have some sort of access to dark room I would recommend you invest in an older school camera. When I took a photo class I used my dad’s old SLR camera he used when he took photography in college. It was pretty fun I must say. If you have no dark room available then you can get any photo lab to make print for you (they will not be as custom and you miss out on the darkroom experience), but it will work.
Or you could go with the G9. Many 2nd parties sell the Canon G9. You should check it out (but only if you know [or wil learn] simple photoraphy principles)
Good luck, and I hope I didnt hurt your feelings with my Kodak joke.

Checkout the consumer priced Canon Rebel digital SLRs
I have Canon 30D and its great.
Most local camera dealers can be very expensive.
