“A picture is mightier than a sword” this is the new proverb that should be used while referring to the art of photography. You might have heard the proverbs, “A pen is mightier than a sword” and “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Combining the two proverbs, we can derive the new proverb, on a lighter note. But, please do not take the essence of the proverb lightly. If you are interested in photography, then, you will know what I am talking about. And all of us have an artist in us and are spell bound when we see a beautiful picture or a painting or a fine piece of art.
Photographs are snapshots of time. They do not tell you what has happened in the past or what happened after the photograph is clicked. But, it will give you the glimpse into the past and contains all the information that the beholder can see. So, if you are interested in photography, then, you have the whole world to explore. You can explore the natural surroundings around you including underwater photography or the people belonging to different cultures or the fashion world. Whatever stream of photography you choose, you are set to have a great fun and entertain yourself and others around you.
To become an expert photographer, you will have to learn all the tricks of photography. You can visit a school that teaches photography and learn it as a hobby, and later, if your work is appreciated by many, then, you can take it us as a full time profession. There are a lot of accessories that you need to use to take fabulous pictures. You many want to buy a camera backpack to keep all your things in, safely.
Photography is not just an art. It has become part of the science as well. For example, in forensic science the photography is used in crime scene investigations and is integral part of the investigation. Also, to find life on other planets NASA has spent millions of dollars to send a probe to these planets and the probes have taken amazing pictures of the planets and sent them back to earth. Hence, a hobby can bring you the opportunity to earn money as well if you are serious and take it up as a profession.
