Late Prom Date Question<<<<<<<<<<<< Advice Please<<<<<<<<<<
ok, ive been trying to figure out if the girl i like wants to go to prom single still. i really believe she doesnt but the thing is she broke up with her bf like 2-3 weeks ago. and was a bit sad. i talked to her friend and she told me she wanted to go alone and not worry about a date. but. she encouraged me to ask her just to see. she told me she would try to talk to her and let me know but i have not gotten a response from her. i sent a message asking what she thinks but still no reply in 2 days.
She really would not ignore me im good friends with her. its getting close to prom night (17 days!!) and im just going to ask her tomorrow i think.
what should i say to her? because it is getting late and i have not gotten to talk to her much so how can i ask without it being awkward?

ASK HER! just ask her in a nice sweet way and she will definitely say yes. if u relaly htink its necessarry u can say the whole “as friends” dealio, but it doenst really matter if ur good friends. what really matters is that u both have fun! good luck!!! =)

Say something along the lines of “Hey, how are you? I know you wanted to go alone. And I know it’s kinda late, but I was wondering, would you go to the prom with me?” I dunno. No guy’s asked me to prom, but we’ve got another month, so I’m hoping, or I’m just going with my friends.
